"TThe 2020 Syrah The Dare checks in as 100% Syrah from a mix of sites including the Zotovich, Fox Family, Tierra Alta, and Larner vineyards that spent 26 months in 25% new oak. Deep ruby/purple-hued with gamey, floral notes of red, blue, and black fruits, leafy herbs, sagebrush, and ground pepper, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a supple, elegant mouthfeel, and ripe, integrated tannins that emerge on the finish."  ∼ Jeb Dunnuck

"The 2019 Syrah Spear Vineyard is fabulous. Dramatic and layered in the glass, the 2019 is seriously impressive. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, earthiness, tobacco, dried herbs and a good deal of savory intensity from the 30% whole clusters soar out of the glass.
