2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, Happy Canyon Vineyard
Cabernet Sauvignon is arguably the most “famous” wine grape in the world! Is has been produced for centuries in Bordeaux and fetches over $1000 per bottle from many of the top Chateau’s. In the United States, cult Napa Valley Cabs also cost several hundreds of dollars per bottle! Recently Happy Canyon, the warmest area in Santa Barbara County, has started to rival some of these wines at a much lower price.
This Cabernet is very traditional to the varietal with black cherry, red plum, baking spices and a hint of tobacco. It was aged in 100% French Taransaud barrels for over two years prior to being bottled. This is a wonderful Cabernet that will pair great with a nice big Tri-tip, Ribeye or other BBQ beef.
